Who We Are

We couldn’t afford a home and saw society's systems needing a big upgrade, from food being sprayed with poison, to mental health declining more with each generation, lack of real connection, and an education system meant for pumping out factory workers.

So we figured we’d build a better way of living from the ground up.

We started out broke and in debt and found creative financing methods to buy 160 acres off grid and are turning it into a permaculture sanctuary where we grow our own food, host retreats, regenerate the soil and build a sense of community.

Now we sell an online course and do in-person workshops to help people do the same – buy land and start a homestead, retreat centre, regenerative farm, or intentional community.

We are launching several more online courses and we’re looking for someone to come in full-time to work with our marketing team to write copy for funnels and emails that will take our courses and brand to the next level.

Our vision doesn't actually stop there.

We’re doing whatever it takes to help our clients reach their goals faster, easier, and more affordably.

So we’re creating a modular dwelling business, as well as buying more land and building self-sufficient 50-family-home communities across North America, so we can offer affordable solutions for people to live a good life in alignment with nature.

Examples Of New Courses Launching This Year That You May Help Build!

We’re an education company, and this year we’re planning on launching 4 new course tests per quarter. Here’s some examples of courses you’ll be helping launch:

  • Fill My Retreat: How to market and sell out retreats for retreat hosts

  • My 100k Month: How to turn that into an online course and hit your first 100k month

  • Solar Power Mastery: How to save 10’s of thousands of dollars on solar and set it up yourself

  • Toxin Free Home: How to rid every area of your house of toxins from food and water to building materials and furniture

  • Intro To Homeschooling: All the options that exist to start homeschooling your kids and how to earn an income with it while staying at home

This year we’re focussed on courses we can create quickly.

In the future we’ll be launching courses that require more physical build out and demonstration, such as gardening, farming, cattle management, etc

The Copywriter / Course Creator Role will be accountable for:

  • Fall in love with learning about new topics and doing research in the form of deep digging on Google, contacting and interviewing experts (can be used as podcast episodes), taking information from videos from our founders, taking other online or in-person courses, use Chat GPT and whatever else you can think of

  • Create course outlines of chapters and modules formatted for the best learning experience and in a way that delivers the fastest “win” or progress to the student

  • Create templates, checklists, swipe files, tangible resources, compile lists of resources, for groups, etc that make students journey faster and easier (i.e. Leif, our product lead created a “Find Me Map” for students to connect with one another, and contacted every state in North America to create the first ever “No Zoning List" to help students find a specific type of land zoning, or gave email and ad templates for our Fill My Retreat course)

  • Advise and support students in our VIP groups (Telegram group chat and FB group) with your knowledge and resources

  • Host by-weekly Zoom calls with students to present new materials you’ve been working on (very easy going environment, and you’ll eased into this by shadowing others first)

  • Get obsessed with becoming an expert in all existing course areas, reading the course material, doing additional research and connect with others in the company and in our audience on your own to fill in any knowledge gaps

  • Write emails to give our email list readers value, educating on new course developments you’ve made

  • Record videos (often just Loom recording) for your courses and/or work with contractors or the in-house team to create videos

  • Go into the field and get real life experience doing the task (i.e. come to site and build a garden, or rent a property and setup a sauna and backyard spa and rent it out and manage that to gain experience while building the course, etc)

  • Assist with other forms of copywriting and possibly customer service (we’re a small team and we jump around and help each other as needed)

  • Looking after your personal health with weekly fitness and mindfulness goals

  • Reporting and reviewing results in weekly meetings

  • Keeping your projects organized and up to date in Clickup (task and project management software)

  • Creating internal trainings and improving on existing ones to systemize your job and help train new teammates (that’s how you level up and get promoted, so we can hire someone that you can manage)

  • 40 hour weeks expected

  • Must have your own cell phone

  • Must have your own computer at least for the first 3 months, after that we can buy company gear as or if it’s needed

  • Remote position with potential to live on-site in the future

Salary & Benefits

  • $4500-$6000/month depending on experience and skill (paid as a contractor)

  • $150/month health spending account (in lieu of traditional health benefits so you can spend it anywhere you want)

  • 2-3 team retreats per year (IF we hit our goal this year, we're flying the whole team to Mexico, and possibly to one of the top 3 business mastermind events in the world. Previous team retreats have included surf trips to Tofino, renting a mansion in West Van, private sauna and snowboarding trip, etc)

  • On-site workshops with guests (online time almost always attends these for fun and also to learn)

  • Optional 3 day "bring the online team to work" day with our onsite team for hands-on learning and skill building on our 160 acre sanctuary in Rock Creek, BC

  • Paid time off whenever you want it, within reason and if your tasks are being completed. Everyone is trusted to make appropriate decisions to get things done and also enjoy life.

  • We are heavily invested in your training, hiring multiple outside contractors to consult and help you grow.

  • Stock options coming this year
